SBC (StepBrilliant Co.) is a Taiwan-based LED lighting IC design company specializing in switch-dimming technology.
We provide flexible business solutions based on your requirements, including switch-dimming driver ICs, LED power modules, and complete switch-dimming lighting products.
Our proprietary switch-dimming IC technology was developed through our own R&D and was previously granted a U.S. invention patent. This technology enables us to develop and manufacture a wide range of LED lighting products with stable and reliable switch-dimming or color-temperature adjustment functions.

How Switch Dimming Works
The following video demonstrates our multi-step switch-dimming technology. The LED light shown in the video is powered by an SBC switch-dimming driver IC.

In addition to multi-step switch dimming, SBC also provides stepless switch-dimming solutions, allowing users to smoothly adjust the brightness using a conventional wall switch.

From Switch-Dimming to Smart Home
SBC is extending its switch-dimming lighting technology into the smart home market.
Instead of replacing existing lighting products with expensive smart fixtures, our roadmap is to develop a Matter-enabled switch control module that can be installed at the main power connection point of the first recessed light.

A Simple Way to Make Lighting Smarter

The  Switch Control Module is designed to be installed inside the ceiling at the main power connection point of the first recessed light. It enables smart home control of connected switch-dimming lights while retaining the familiar wall-switch operation.
A single control module can enable smart control for an entire group of connected switch-dimming lights, without requiring a smart module in every lighting fixture.The wall switch can also be used to adjust the brightness or color temperature of the lights, while maintaining the familiar traditional switch-dimming experience.
